Online Tech Entrepreneur Pitch Competition

UVU Africa called on young South African entrepreneurs aged 18-35 years old, holding a valid SA ID, to submit a 60-second video pitch about their tech business that is going to change the world and in return, the entrepreneurs stand the chance of winning a share of R24 000 and a Digital Marketing Toolkit to assist with double, triple or 10x lead generation and customer conversion.

 

After reviewing over 50 online pitches, the judging panel had the difficult job of selecting the top 10 finalists who will each receive a R500 cash prize.

 

The purpose of the open-ended online pitch competition is to motivate those in the ideation phase to formulate their concepts and reward those who have crafted innovative solutions to real-world problems.

Thuto seeks to transform the way students are recognised, rewarded, and taught finance by offering a personalised academic recognition and rewards platform, that focuses on the personal progressive performance of students while integrating financial education into these recognition and reward programs.

 

The final round of judging will reveal the Top 3 who will win a further cash prize while the winner walks away with a Digital Marketing Toolkit valued at over R35000.
