The success of 12 creative entrepreneurs from South Africa, Lesotho, and Malawi was celebrated at an exclusive investor pitch day and a graduation ceremony hosted at the French ambassador’s residence in Pretoria.
Over two inspiring days, graduates showcased their innovative work as part of the Création Africa programme celebrations. They also took part in interactive discussions and immersed themselves in networking opportunities with industry leaders.
The highlight of the celebrations was the recognition of UVU Africa as the “best incubator on the continent” by French Ambassador David Martinon, who praised its pivotal role in supporting African entrepreneurs and driving growth in the creative economy.
Graduate Chimwemwe Mkwezalamba from Malawi expressed her excitement about upcoming opportunities, including participation in BIG 2024 in Paris, Europe’s largest business and investment gathering.
