This Advanced Technical Academy is a year-long programme aimed at equipping young tech professionals with the skills required to succeed in the digital economy. It begins with 6 months of intensive and immersive training in our Braamfontein Accelerator, where candidates are streamed into career-specific tracks such as DevOps, Java, and Data Analytics. Following this, candidates will participate in a 6-month internship with a CAPACITI corporate partner, allowing them to apply the skills they developed during their training.
Campus based experiential learning and training as workplace simulation. Candidates collaborate and complete workplace activities like problem solving, business communication and complete and submit practical assessments, projects and examination of work undertaken. The training element of the course is delivered over a minimum period of 6 months, supported by extensive job and career critical skills training.
Onboarding into the workplace for successful candidates upon meeting all training criteria.
Exposure to real-world applications of technologies and understanding of organisational operations across various technical domains.
Access to a broad network of field specialists and tech thought leaders.
Receipt of certifications relevant to their technical stream for career advancement in the digital economy.
Development of core job skills, self-regulation, financial literacy, and one-to-one mentorship from team members.
