What if every African city was set up to be an engine of possibility?

To strengthen African economies by building demand-led talent systems, high-growth innovation sectors and place-based ecosystems

Africa has no shortage of brilliant people, bold ideas, or untapped potential. What it has lacked are the systems to connect them to opportunity at scale. For 25 years UVU Africa has been building those systems by aligning talent, capital, infrastructure, and industry demand so that Africa’s innovation becomes real jobs, real ventures, and resilient livelihoods. We are a non-profit group operating across South Africa and Rwanda, with a growing continental footprint and an ambition to scale.

From Cape Town, to Kigali. We align systems so innovation turns into livelihoods.

UVU Africa works through three mutually reinforcing engines – aligning talent, high-growth sectors, and place-based ecosystems into one integrated system. This is how we turn Africa’s potential into livelihoods at scale.
