Pitch Event: Injini Virtual EdTech Bootcamp for Accessible Education Solutions.

For the past week, the Injini team has been working with 13 ideation and early-stage startups focused on making education accessible by building EdTech solutions designed to reach the hard-to-reach. The teams have been tasked with completing coursework on the Fundamentals for African EdTech Entrepreneurs – including modules: “Myths and Evidence in Education” and “Business Model Canvas”, which were accompanied by key deliverables and virtual workshops.

All the hard work from the past weeks have culminated in a pitch event, where founders will be presenting their progress to a panel of expert judges. Startups will be given the opportunity to present their progress (both during the programme, but also to date) and other key factors of the solution/business. Each team will be given 3 minutes to pitch their EdTech solution. The winner, who will be determined based on their performance throughout the programme and the pitch itself, will receive a cash prize of R5,000.

The pitch competition will take place virtually and will require all attendees to have a stable internet connection. The pitch event will be hosted on Thursday, 16 September 2021 14:00 SAST.
