Topco Media, in partnership with Standard Bank, will be hosting the second virtual conference experience on 6th & 7th October 2021. Topco Media and Standard Bank will be highlighting women-owned businesses to increase awareness around Women Empowerment and Gender Equality Initiatives. Through this collaboration, the goal of equality and advancing the SA economy can be achieved.

Join the world’s fastest-growing platform for women who lead. This year, the Summit will address gender disparities and women empowerment, through the key theme that is: “Brave conversations 2.0 that uplift and drive change”. These conversations will tackle hard-hitting issues such as Opportunity Inequality, Empowerment, Gender-Based Violence and Remote Working for Women – considering the current global pandemic.

Through this theme, the summit aims to fuel the global gender empowerment movement by connecting women entrepreneurs, global icons, thought leaders and experts to offer inspiration and actionable insights. The conference will also feature high-profile speakers, #ICHOOSEYOU campaign power icons, and changemakers who will offer practical solutions and access to networks of support for women across the globe.

“This conference is aligned with CiTi’s Top Tech Tools for Woman In Business Programme vision to create an empowering atmosphere for women who are eager to infuse technology into their businesses” says Lara Rosmarin, Head of Entrepreneurial Development at CiTi. “CiTi understands the importance of creating  digitally enabled businesses, that has the capacity to navigate challenges and opportunities in a streamlined and more efficient manner”.

The programme boasts a supportive and creative environment that exposes female entrepreneurs to the latest available technology resources to improve and grow their businesses. As part of the select group of women business owners that form the core of our fully funded Women in Business Programme, female founders are given the opportunity to invest their time and effort in knowledge and skills that will enable both business and personal growth trajectories. In response to the outbreak of the coronavirus, the programme has been adapted to suit an exclusively online engagement strategy. In addition, participants will have access to additional online learning components.

We are currently recruiting for the next Women In Business cohort and you can join the sisterhood at no cost! Female entrepreneurs who would like to take part in the Women in Business programme must submit their applications here.
