BioCiTi will be hosting an Open Day for their new, upgraded lab facility at the SA Innovation Summit.

On the 22nd and 23rd of September BioCiTi will be hosting two ecosystem events as part of the 2021 South African Innovation Summit side event tour. The South African Innovation Summit is the largest start-up event in Africa taking place from the 21st to the 23rd of September 2021.

First up is the student-focused 2-day Biotechnology Job Expo, hosted by ScienceBridge and BioCiTi. On Day 1 we gather experts in field of biotechnology, economy as well as personal branding to provide students with knowledge and information they can use to access the biotechnology job market in South Africa.  On Day 2 we livestream a fireside chat with biotech entrepreneurs to explore their journey and give 20 lucky students an opportunity to visit the BioCiTi Lab based in the Bandwidth Barn in Woodstock.  If you want to participate in the student event apply here.

The second event is a VIP Open Day to view the new, upgraded BioCiTi Lab, meet the BioCiTi team and an opportunity to safely engage with the startups working in the biotech facility.

The Innovation Summit provides various platforms for developing and showcasing African innovation, as well as facilitating thought-leadership. It brings together top entrepreneurs, investors, corporates, policymakers and thought leaders to support start-ups and inspire sustained economic growth across Africa.

Tickets to attend the event, can be purchased here.
